We “right-size” our packages: You’ll find that some DJ companies have set “packages” with fees that don’t fit with your budget or the size of your event. A bigger event requires more sound reinforcement, so it doesn’t make sense for you to pay a set fee for any size event. At The Perfect Mix, you get a package tailored to the size and budget of your event.
Our DJ’s mix live, and can mix any genre:Mixing is essential in creating a flow and keeping up the vibe. Believe it or not, some event DJ’s don’t mix, so we make sure ours do.
Speakers: We only use powered speakers because each speaker has a built-in amplifier and plugs into an individual electrical outlet. If one speaker stops working, the other speakers continue to operate without any interruption. This is important to ensure the music doesn’t stop at your event, and important to us to provide the most reliable setup possible.
DJ setup: We only use cutting edge fully digital MIDI-based DJ software systems like Traktor and Serato which means we’ll find you a song in a matter of seconds, not minutes. We also travel with back up components for each aspect of this setup just in case.
An iPod will never take the place of a DJ. An iPod can’t read the crowd or mix.
